Where to Watch Kaun Banega Crorepati’s (KBC) New Season Online and TV

The time is ticking, and Kaun Banega Crorepati 13 is all set to take over the television screens every night at 9 p.m. The latest season yet again has the mega superstar Amitabh Bachchan as its host, and fans are excited about the event. Following the success of the last season, KBC 13 is not only providing a chance for the competitors to make a return in life, but it is also providing an exciting opportunity for the spectators as well in the form of KBC Play Along.

The 13th season of India’s top quiz show premiered on August 23 and it will run five times a week, Monday through Friday at 9 p.m. From the name of the game timer to the reintroduction of the audience poll, here’s what’s new this season.

  • This year, the game timer will be appropriately named Dhuk Dhukiji. The timer was known as Chalpadi Ji the year before. Usually, Amitabh Bachchan seems to have a lot of amusing talks with the timer.
  • Last year, because there was no crowd in the studio, one of the famous KBC lifelines, the audience poll, was left out of the competition. This year, along with 50:50, Flip the Question, and Ask the Expert, this lifeline is making a reappearance.
  • The Fastest Finger First challenge, which sends the competitors to the hot seat, has been renamed the Fastest Finger First Triple Test. To get to the hot seat facing Bachchan, candidates will now have to solve three general knowledge-based questions instead of just one. A scoreboard will display the time it takes each contender to answer every question, and the competitor who answers all three questions in the least amount of time will advance to the hot seat.
  • This year, the Shaandaar Shukravaar will take the place of the Karamveer special episodes. In these segments, celebrity visitors will take part in a game show for a good cause.

KBC 13’s Short Film Sammaan

The creators of KBC 13 released a three-part short movie called Sammaan ahead of the debut. The third installment of the film was recently launched. Nitesh Tiwari directed, conceptualized, and wrote the film. The short video depicts some peasants attempting to gather cash for the construction of a school.

They apply for KBC 13 and one of the locals, a barber (Omkar Das Manikpuri), is accepted. All of the locals were seen educating him in the second half of Sammaan. In the third installment, the barber enters the program and confronts Amitabh Bachchan. He aced all of the questions, and his villagers clapped for him when they saw him on TV.

We watch one individual’s battle for self-respect near the end of the video, while all of the villagers are dismayed by him.

A Summary On KBC’s Premier Episode

Kaun Banega Crorepati recently celebrated its 21st anniversary. The show initially aired on Star Plus in 2000.

Big B was on the hot seat in the inaugural episode, addressing questions posed by the show’s creator, Siddhartha Basu. Yes, you read that correctly.

According to a report, Basu had asked Amitabh six questions about the program in a rapid-fire round. He was speaking on the show’s 21-year odyssey, which began in 2000.

To put the show’s age in context, he stated that Indian cricketer Vira Kohli was just 12 years old while Tokyo 2020 Olympics gold medalist javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra was just 3 years old.

The pair looked back on the show and recollected previously unseen elements. According to the report, Big B also explained that he had visited the locations of ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire’ (the show on which Kaun Banega Crorepati is inspired) to grasp the show’s premise.

Amitabh Bachchan had presented the show ever since its debut in 2000, with the exception of the 2007 season, when Shah Rukh Khan stepped over for 1 season.

KBC 13 Guests On Shaandaar Shukravaar

Sourav Ganguly, who is the former captain as well as President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), and ex-Test cricketer Virender Sehwag were on the hot seat in the ‘Shandaar Shukravar’ segment of the 13th season of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati.

‘Shaandaar Shukravaar,’ which would substitute the previous years ‘Karam Veer,’ will include celebrity visitors from all areas of life coming on the show for a social purpose.

How To Participate in KBC Play-Along

While the participants live their dream on the hot seat facing presenter Amitabh Bachchan, spectators may win prizes using the Play Along feature on the SonyLIV app. The producers have some surprises in store for fans this year as well.

“From the very first virtual auditioning on SonyLIV to a booming reaction online, this has become a year of breakthroughs for Kaun Banega Crorepati,” stated Aman Srivastava, Head – Marketing, Digital Business, Sony LIV, in an announcement. Our new update, ‘Har Din 10 Lakhpati,’ is a continuation of that strategy to increase the enthusiasm around KBC Play Along and make winners out of our fans.
