The story of Mumbai Saga revolves around Amartya Rao (John Abraham), having a typical life with his youthful sibling Arjun and having a love interest with his first love, Seema (Kajal Aggarwal). Amartya likes to avoid the crimes of the city, however at some point, when the nearby hooligans of Gaitonde (Amol Gupte) assault his sibling, he goes on a rampage and kills every one of them. He is then arrested and sent to prison, where he is again assaulted by Gaitonde’s men, but he once again defeats them.

A lawmaker (Mahesh Manjrekar) discharges Amartya and takes him under his order, and from here, starts Amartya’s ascent. After a few events, Amartya progresses to become the greater criminal in Mumbai after defeating Gaitonde and his men. He also weds Seema after this incident.

After 12 years, Amartya ends up severely killing a renowned industrialist Samir Soni who’s played by Sunil Khaitan. Because of this, Samir’s wife places a compensation of 10 crores on Amartya. Vijay Savarkar, a straightforward cop enacted by Emraan Hashmi takes up the work and decides to stop Amartya’s empire. Will he prevail in his main goal? Watch the film to discover.
