You will also have to pay a one-time security deposit amount of Rs. 1500 for the set-top box.

The security deposit is completely refundable if a user returns the STB after one year in good condition. There will be no refund if you return the set-top box before one year.

Airtel Xstream, Reliance Jio Fibernet, and Excitel Broadband are three telecom companies that offer voice calling facilities to their users on a broadband connection. Jio Fiber broadband

Reliance Jio offers unlimited internet data and unlimited voice calling in the monthly pack, which comes at an affordable cost of Rs. 699.

At Rs. 2097, the company offers the same plan benefits but at the quarterly pack for 90 days.

On a semi-annual pack, the company gives additional validation of 15 days along with 180 days of unlimited internet and voice calling at Rs. 4194.

And an additional validation of 30 days comes with the annual plan at Rs. 8388. It means, the more you pay, the more benefits you get. None of these plans comes with any additional OTT subscriptions, which is a drawback compared to other broadband providers in India.

All the above plan prices are excluded from GST. And for new connections, subscribers need to pay an amount of Rs. 1000 for installation charges and a refundable security deposit of Rs. 1500.

Excitel Broadband

Excitel broadband is not exactly available in every circle. But it is very famous in some states and circles such as Hyderabad, Jaipur, Vishakapattanam, and Delhi NCR.

For just Rs. 699, the company offers up to 100 Mbps internet speed along with a few OTT subscriptions and unlimited data. And if a user wants to activate the same plan for one year, then the plan price will become Rs. 399 per month.

Bharat Fiber Broadband

With Bharat Fiber broadband, BSNL provides up to 100 Mbps internet speed across India at just Rs. 799.

On this plan, the users can activate 3300 GB of internet data for 30 days. For the new connection of Bharat Fiber, the customer has to pay Rs. 250 as installation charges and up to Rs. 1500 for the Wi-Fi router.

Once the user crosses the FUP limitation, the internet speed will be reduced to 2 Mbps. One more disadvantage that BSNL Fiber broadband holds is that it does not provide its users with any additional benefits in terms of OTT platforms.

Tata Sky Broadband

Tata sky broadband plan starts with Rs. 950 for one month and goes up to Rs. 8400 for a yearly plan.

Tata Sky broadband services are a little expensive compared to other operators. But if any user is willing to pay for 12 months, then the 100 Mbps broadband plan will be reduced to Rs. 700 per month.

The Tata sky offers its users a 15% discount on the annual recharge pack and 10% off on the half-yearly recharge plan. However, the Tata Sky broadband plan does not come with Wi-Fi calling option and additional benefits for its users.
