What is the Full Form of ADSL

ADSL abbreviates as Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line, a technology that provides high transmission speed for Voice and Video. The ADSL uses ordinary copper telephone wire at homes for this high speed transmission, which makes it most cost effective.

ADSL, a popularly used in low market penetration of cable TV and a major competition to cable modems. In general, ADSL does offer higher download speed when compared with upload speed. As much internet used in home and business, the download and upload speed is more when compared with upload which makes ADSL a good option to utilize.

On the other side the Symmetric Digital Subscriber line uses transmission which allows similar upload and downloads speed. ADSL when compared with usually used cable modem, might get slower in performance but will always hold a stable connection even at interactive internet speed.
