Good news for Jio Fiber postpaid subscribers. Brand new exciting quarterly plans introduced. Earlier only 6 months and 12 months plans were available. The New Plans start from Rs 2,097 with 100Mbps exclusive of GST, up to Rs 25497 with 1Gbps are available. The subscribers can avail unlimited entertainment too with the new plans. From the 150 Mbps plan at Rs 2,997 and above, Users have free access to multiple OTT platforms.

Base Plan -No OTT Benefits

The base plan introduced begins at Rs2,097 with 100Mbps. Users can enjoy unlimited data and also free voice calling for the first three months. It is to be noted that this plan does not offer free access to OTT platforms.

Free Access to Netflix (Basic)

For the plans Rs4497, Rs7497, Rs11997 & Rs25497, apart from the above 15 OTT platforms, subscribers can also enjoy free access to Netflix (Basic).

A statement from authorised sources in Reliance Jio says, To avoid abuse of Unlimited Data benefits by a few that affects the vast majority of other users, for such plans, RJIL will identify and treat any consumption by a customer beyond 3300 GB of data in a billing cycle; as misuse of the benefits provided. Upon reaching such a limit in a billing cycle, RJIL reserves the right to withdraw the plan benefits in the form of data used for such consumers without giving any prior notice.

Jio Fiber has considered the requirements of its subscribers quite thoroughly. While free voice calling and unlimited data are offered with all the plans, OTT subscription is restricted to plans above Rs 2997/-. Users can enjoy around 15 OTT platforms at their will. Netflix can be availed only from plans of Rs 4497 ad above.

For those users who are looking for very high-speed internet, the most suitable post-paid plans would be Rs 11997 and Rs 25497. These plans come along with a 1Gbps upload which allows customers to conduct all their online transactions smoothly as well as quickly.

We also hear that Jio subscribers can get a free 4K set-top-box when they subscribe to any of the post-paid plans that are available. Those who are availing of the quarterly plans need not pay any installation charges or give any security deposit.

The other long-term post-paid plans from Jio include a six months plan at Rs 2,394/- and a 12 months plan at Rs 4,788/-
