Reliance Jio- Tamil Nadu sector has been allocated new ACCESS-MSC codes. Increasing demand from 1 million subscribers met.

As the pandemic is still lurking around corners, there has been an increasing demand for mobile services. Reliance Jio has been experiencing an upsurge in consumer demand for ACCESS-MSC codes due to this hike in subscribers. Taking this into consideration, the concerned authorities had placed a request to the Indian Department of Telecommunications (DoT).

Our Sources have it that DoT has provided a fresh allocation of ACCESS-MSC codes which will be elemental in meeting the demand of 1 million subscribers in the Reliance Jio Tamil Nadu Sector.

In consideration to the requests of M/s Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd, the undersigned is directed to convey the allotment of MSC code. in case of errors/omissions, if any, the same may be brought to the notice of the undersigned immediately, announced the DoT officials.

In accordance with the DoT notification, the ACCESS-MSC codes 93630-93639 have been allocated to the Tamil Nādu sector of Reliance Jio. The DoT conducts careful research and only if the telcos have substantial proof of consumer demand, are the MSC codes provided.

MSC codes are the numbers resourced to the various telcos when fresh demand comes in from subscribers. This code comprises the first five digits of a mobile number. They are allocated to a telecom company on a regional basis, as and when the demand arises.
