1. Dhoop Ki Deewar

ZEE5 has announced that their new Zindagi exclusive Dhoop Ki Deewar will be released on June 25th. Dhoop Ki Deewar, starring Pakistani actor pair Sajal Aly and Ahad Raza Mir, is a cross-border drama of love, family, and tragedy.

The narrative follows Vishal (Mir) from India and Sara (Aly) from Pakistan, who discover their lives intertwined after losing their dads in battle. Their mutual pain serves as the foundation for their connection.

Haseeb Hasan directs Dhoop Ki Deewar, which was penned by Umera Ahmed. In addition to Samiya Mumtaz, Zaib Rehman, Savera Nadeem, Samina Ahmed, Manzar Sehbai, Raza Talish, Aly Khan, as well as Adnan Jaffar, the series is produced by Motion Content Group and Hamdan Films.

2. State of Siege: Akshardham

The streaming service ZEE5 has revealed its next project, “State of Siege: Akshardham,” which is inspired by the 2002 siege on the Akshardham temple in Gujarat. Following “State of Siege: 26/11,” this effort continues the ‘Siege’ series’ history of honoring Indian warriors.

Around 30 people were killed and 80 were wounded in a terrorist assault at the Akshardham temple in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. Afterwards the National Security Guard (NSG) came and took command of the incident.

Retired Lt Col Sundeep Sen, who was an advisor on the film State of Siege: 26/11 as well as the NSG’s 2nd in Command during the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, will also provide his knowledge to this project. Through the ‘Siege’ franchise, Abhimanyu Singh, president and Chief of Contiloe Pictures, stated that they hope to expose what happened behind some of the country’s most recent atrocities.
