BSNL has started a new service called Know Your Retailer for BSNL subscribers to know the nearest retailer which will enable the subscriber to get a recharge done when most of the Point of Sale (PoS) is closed.
In Lockdown and otherwise too during the period of any natural calamities, many times, the customer wishes to know the BSNL retailer details like Name and Address along with contact number to enable him/her to recharge an existing mobile phone.
During those times, if the subscriber sends the following code to the predefined number may instantly get the nearest retailer contact details on the reply message, so that you can call the retailer number to get activate the required recharge to continue mobile services.

Yes, any GSM mobile customer can avail of this KYR facility to get prepaid or postpaid services, where prepaid customers can activate the recharges and the postpaid customers may pay the bill on contact with an authorized retailer.
The service is absolutely a free facility, any BSNL GSM mobile customer can send SMS to the prepaid number with the given code and no other charges were billed, if anything is found billed, please complain at customer care.
