How to activate DND in Reliance Jio

If you have a reliance jio mobile number, you can activate the do not disturb service by using your official myJio application or visit the jio.com website. Below we have shared the process to be followed in both ways respectively.

1. Using MyJio App:

• Download the application from Google play or app store and install it on your mobile.
• Open the application and sign up/login using your mobile number.
• Go to Menu and select the ‘Profile and other settings’ option.
• Select the DND(Do Not Disturb) option and
• Hit the ‘Select Preference’
• Choose your preference and
• Finally, submit your request.

2. From jio.com:

• Visit the official website jio.com
• Log in using your mobile number
• Go to settings from the homepage
• Select the ‘Profile and other settings’ option.
• Select the DND(Do Not Disturb) option and
• Hit the ‘Select Preference.’

How to activate DND in Airtel

For the Airtel users, the steps to activate the do not disturb service are different. Mentioned below are the steps that every Airtel user must follow if they wish to activate the DND service on their mobile phones.

• Method 1:
• Dial 1909
• You will automatically register your airtel number as a DND subscriber

• Method 2:
• Type ‘START DND’ or ‘START 0’ and send an SMS to 1909
• With the ‘START 0’ text, you can entirely block all the notifications.

How to activate DND in Vodafone Idea

There are three different ways to activate the do not disturb service on your Vodafone Idea mobile number. Discussed below are all the different ways to start the DND service on your VI network.

1. Through SMS:

• Type ‘STOP 0’ and send text SMS to 1909
• You will be required to wait for 4 to 7 days to activate the DND service.

2. Using direct Call:

• Call directly to 1909
• The do not disturb service will be automatically activated on your mobile number.

3. Via VI app:

• Open Google Play or App Store
• Search VI app and start downloading.
• After downloading, install the VI application
• Log in using your VI mobile number.
• Go to ‘my account’ from the setting/menu option and then scroll down and select the ‘do not disturb option
• Choose the category
• Click the submit button
• The DND service will activate on your VI number within seven days.

How to activate DND in BSNL

For BSNL users, the activation of DND service on their mobile number is similar to Airtel users. Mentioned below are two methods through which BSNL users can start ‘do not disturb’ on their mobile phones.

• Method :
• Dial 1909
• You will automatically register your BSNL number as a DND number

• Method 2:
• Type ‘START 0’ and send an SMS to 1909 from your BSNL number
