Even though the Jiofi device is supporting only Wifi Features you can use the JioFi Calling and SMS Feature with the help of your Mobile/Laptop or pc.
Today I will share some steps to configure your Mobile or PC/Laptop to make calls using your JioFi Device and all for free.
How do I Use JioFi Calling and SMS?
Here are some steps you need to follow if you want to Use the Jio Wifi calling and SMS Feature. JioCall (earlier Jio4Gvoice) from Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd now comes in a brand new avatar.
Let’s get started with the detailed procedure of how I use Jio Wifi Calling and SMS.
Step 1: Download Jio4G Voice App on Mobile/PC:
You can download the Jio4G voice app also known as JioCall on your Mobile from Android Play Store
To download this App on a PC You have to install the Android Emulator – Bluestack or Android OS on your PC/Laptop.
Then install the Bluestack and Setup using your Gmail, and open the Emulator Bluestack
Now Open Google Play Store in Bluestack and Install the JioCall App. on your PC/Laptop
Step 2: Configure the Jio4G Voice/ JioCall App:
Now as you have installed the JioCall or Jio4G Voice App on your Mobile Phone/PC/Laptop let’s configure it. For this, You need to stay connected with your JioFi Wifi and Internet should be working.
Follow the Same Procedure on Mobile/PC to configure the JioCall Feature.
When you Open the Jiocall App it will show you Popup Configure JioCall using JioFi
Click on Configure and you will receive an OTP on the Alternate number you have given during Purchasing the JioFi/Jio Sim in the JioFi
Allow all the Permissions and all done. Congrats you have set up the JioCall Feature
Step 3: Activate Calling And SMS Feature:
If you have purchased your JioFi device or the JioSim in it with filling the form and submitting Xerox Copy or your Identity proof then you need to verify your Identity by calling in 1977.
Just make sure if you are not able to call anybody then call this number first and do what it asks for like entering your id number.
And try to call anybody in your contact just after 15 to 30 Minutes.
