From August 23rd, a data-only prepaid plan has been launched by BSNL. 2 GB high-speed data daily for a whole year. No voice calling. Suitable for work from home data options.


The Government-owned telecom company BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) has launched a work from home friendly prepaid data plan for Rs 1498/-. The plan came into existence on August 23rd 2021. The plan provides 2GB of high-speed data per day for a validity of 365 days. Upon consumption of 2GB per day, the speed reduces to 40Kbps.

This news comes as a relief to most organisations and employees who are striving hard to find the right internet plan during the pandemic which will make their remote working circumstances more efficient.
