What can be better for those wishing to join Elon Musk ventures? As per a post on LinkedIn, Starlink, the satellite internet branch of SpaceX founded by the billionaire is hiring two lucky candidates for their Indian Subsidiary company. The post also suggests future possibilities of openings as and when the company obtains commercial licenses and is ready for expansion in the country.
StarLink is now seeking regulatory approvals and plans to start its operations in India by 2022.
Currently, there are two positions available:
- Director of Rural Transformation,
- Executive Assistant.
How To Apply
The post calling for the above two titles has appeared on LinkedIn, as posted by Sanjay Bhargava, Country Director India. Eligible candidates can apply to the SpaceX website through the link available in the post. The website has further details on the job requirements and eligibility criteria. Additional details have also been declared there.
In his post, Starlink Country Director India at SpaceX Sanjay Bhardwaj said-“I am pleased to announce that we are now officially looking for two rockstars to join the Indian Subsidiary. See https://lnkd.in/dCZB2mXq. Please read the job descriptions carefully and apply from there itself if you see a good fit. Do not send me resumes.
The executive assistant position is not a chief of staff position and the Director Rural Transformation has to be technical as well. Another small step towards catalyzing and accelerating transformation starting with Rural India. As and when there are other open positions they will appear on the jobs board. I do not expect any more till we are commercially licensed.
The Satellite communications sector is seeing rapid growth and with the new initiative by Elon Musk, we are bound to see a higher number of job opportunities arising in India.
