How to Activate BSNL STV Plans
There are many ways to recharge or activate the special tariff voucher (STV) to reduce the tariff or subscription for unlimited, The options are
- Sending the corresponding keyword to 123.
- Dialing *124#
- Recharging through My BSNL App or BSNL Portal at portal.bsnl.in/myportal/quickrecharge.do
- Approach BSNL retailer for activation.
The first two options are Selfcare recharge options which deduct the recharge amount from the main balance.
- What is STV Plan in BSNL?
A voucher which reduces the basic tariff upto 90-100% (even unlimited also) on recharge with a special amount is called BSNL STV Plan.
- Can have any refund on wrong STV recharge done?
No, STV recharges done through any mode are not allowed to get refund, only Top Up vouchers (multiples of 10) are allowed to get refund before 6 hours of recharge.
- How to check BSNL STV Validity?
Dial *124*2# to check the validity of subscribed BSNL STV and the freebies available in the account.
- What is the difference between BSNL STV plan and Validity plan?
BSNL Validity plan extends main account validity, but STV plan reduces the tariff for a certain period if having main account validity.
- Any STVs of BSNL will extend the main validity?
STVs are meant for reducing the tariff only, so the STV plans doesn’t extend the validity of a mobile number.
