BSNL Holidays List 2021 includes Mandatory Holidays and Restricted Holidays observed in the office has been updated with a newly declared holiday for Ambedkar Jayanti. As per the rules, a maximum of 17 compulsory holidays i.e. EH (Effective Holidays) are available per year, and these 17 are only compulsory holidays observed in Central Government Offices during the year 2021.
And it is issued by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions (Department of Personnel and Training). Out of the list of 17, only 14 days will be decided by the Central Government of India, but the other three holidays will be decided by the Central Government Welfare Coordination Committee in the respective state.
Therefore each state can observe 14 compulsory holidays and 3 alternate days as effective holidays. No alternate holiday should be allowed if any festival declared later falls on a weekly holiday or any other non-working day or in case more than one festival falls on the same day.
What is EH (Effective Holiday) ?
EH is the abbreviation for effective holidays, also known as a closed holiday, which can be used by a BSNL employee for his leave, all effective holidays are treated as BSNL holidays, and the office is without any functional operation. are closed.
Following is the list of BSNL Holidays 2021 for all the offices, as per the orders of the Ministries. While some holidays may vary according to local conditions and major festivals of that region, but the count does not exceed a maximum of 17 days even only in the year 2021.
If there is any change in the dates of BSNL holidays in respect of Eid-ul-Fitr, Idu Ke Juha, Muharram, and Eid-e-Milad on the basis of sighting of the moon, announced in the State Capitals by the Employees Welfare Coordination Committees of the Ministry or Central Government Will be done. To change the EH, only the PSU can make changes in the BSNL Holidays list.
So all employees can get a chance to avail themselves of 17 compulsory holidays in a year, which includes 3 national holidays i.e. Republic Day, Independence Day, and Mahatma Gandhi’s birthday.

In 2021, for Diwali (Deepavali) in certain states the practice is celebrating the occasion in advance on Naraka Chaturdasi Day, In view of that, there is no objection, if the holiday is to shift the holiday to Naraka Chaturdasi in place of Diwali day in the BSNL Holidays list of that state.

What is a Restricted holiday
RH is known as Restricted Leave, and it is not a Compulsory Leave, a Restricted Leave in the name itself, it is a type of Additional Casual Leave, but to be availed by BSNL Employee only on specified dates, in this 2021, 34 days are included in BSNL Holiday 2021 list
The list of restricted holidays may change as per the coordination committees of state capitals with a different list keeping in view the occasions of local area importance.
