As per the queries raised by many customers, here we made the clarification as follows towards advance deposit amount to be paid and first bill amount to be paid.
Here any customer have to pay two types of deposit amount/charges to Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited for provision of telecom services when subscribed, they are
- Security Deposit in Advance
- Charges / Deposit in First Bill in addition to regular bill amount.
The Advance Deposit is a refundable security amount to be paid by the customer for provision of telecom service like Landline, DSL Broadband or Bharat Fiber Internet and other.
Deposit in First Bill includes Modem Security which is a refundable amount, and the installation charges which are nonrefundable as one-time charges and are mandatory to be paid.

Those customers who are willing to pay Advance Rental Charges Annual / 2 /3 years are not required to pay the refundable security deposit.

It is not required, because this case is considered an Outright Purchase which is not applicable for the security deposit amount to be paid to BSNL.
