Frequently Asked Questions
Why is my FTTH internet connection so slow when accessed using WiFi?
The speeds that can be achieved over WiFi are determined by how close you are to the WiFi router or the FTTH WiFi capable ONT, as well as other considerations such as the WiFi router’s hardware capabilities, interference from adjacent WiFi networks, and so on.
What do I need to get started with BSNL FTTH?
An FTTH ONT is the most basic device required (Optical Network Terminal). Most ONTs on the market today have dual-band WiFi functionality and are adequate for handling a few wireless devices with moderate traffic. If the number of wireless devices with moderate to high traffic is significant or strict WiFi performance is required, it is best to purchase a separate WiFi router with appropriate technical specifications.
